The Perfect Travel Case for Your Bicycle

More and more people are heading on vacation or for sports events with their bicycle in tow. So if you are considering flying with your bike here are a few suggestions (courtesy of the New York Times) for cases to keep your bicycle safe on its travels.

The hard polyethylene case measures in at 48″L x 15″W x 30″H and weighs 35 lbs (empty) and allows you to pack your bike with just the minimal amount of disassembling. Just remove the wheels, turn the handles bars and attach to the fork mount. Secure the wheels and chain stays and fasten the top of the case. You are now ready to transport your bike.

Bike Pro USA Race Case
Your bike fits intio the Bike Pro case by removing the wheels, seat post and handle bars. The bike frame is then securely attached inside the case using the True Track Steel Frame of the case. Forks are secured ibto the fork unit using a quick release skewer.
