As a full-time traveller, I don’t subscribe to any magazines. Each dollar I spend on dreaming is a dollar I can’t spend on doing. In any case, where would I have my subscription sent to?! You can’t be a vagabond and read about it in print too.

Hi Craig
Thanks for the comment and good points. Though some people still do like to have things in print. But all of the 5 have a pretty good online presence to. so that makes it better when vagabonding around.
Take care

I hope people keep reading travel magazines. If you can’t go to a far-off exotic location, reading about it is the next best thing. My favorites are National Geographic Traveler or National Geographic Adventure. For a look at Arizona, AZ Highways can’t be beat.

I think subscribing to at least one isn’t such a bad idea. Especially the budget traveler… great tips for spending less $$.

You left out my favorite magazine– Wend Magazine! It’s especially great for the epic, adventure traveler.

I highly recommend Wend Magazine, which is a newer publication out of Portland. They’re the real deal - great stories of intrepid travelers like a young couple who walked the entire length of the Andes, or of a guy born without legs who travels around the world on a skateboard. Great writing, great visuals, with a unique environmental ethic - the mag is printed in Oregon on FSC-certified paper, so they walk the talk. Check them out at http://www.wendmag.com.
