Cowon S9 portable media playerWhile the iPod Touch is probably still the portable media player of choice; for those who prefer non Apple products, the Cowon S9 is sure to appeal.

With a 3.3-inch 16:9 wide amoled screen, pushing out a 480×272 resolution, the Cowon S9 will allow you to enjoy your movies, TV shows, photos and music while you travel. The S9 comes with 16GB of memory and has an exclusive GUI system boasting capacitive touch screen operation giving access to all the functions of the player.

With a battery life of 11 hours for video and 55 hours for audio, the sleek design makes this a contender for a non iPod Touch portable music player.

The Cowon S9 retails for around $240
