Along with it’s tough capabilities the Stylus Tough-8000 gives you 12 megapixel camera with a 3.6x Wide-Angle Optical Zoom, Dual Image Stabilization along with the following features:

Olympus Recommended Button “OR”, that allows you to easily access In-Camera Panorama, Shadow Adjustment and Perfect Shot Preview functions.
Tap Control, allows you to tap on the body of the camera to control some of the camera’s functions - no button pressing required, thanks to the internal 3D accelerometer.
Use either xD-Picture Card or microSD memory cards
2.7-inch LCD with Advanced HyperCrystal III LCD (twice as bright as previous models)
Auto Mode, automatically identifies what you are shooting (i.e. Portrait, Night + Portrait, Landscape, Macro and Sports)
In-Camera Panorama mode, simply press the shutter and slowly pan across the scene. The camera will take 3 shots and automatically stitch them together.
